Barry Katz is a longtime talent manager of comedians and now he hosts the Industry Standard podcast where he interviews his guests on their stories and how they achieved success in the entertainment business. I’m a new listener and it’s been a bit of a revelation to me. He gets a lot of very cool guests.
This episode is the most fascinating one I’ve listened to yet. It’s from back in 2017 with Ted Sarandos. Ted might be the most powerful person in hollywood right now as the head of content at Netflix. He’s the guy who decides what Netflix makes for their original content. He’s fun to listen to and has a ton of stories on how they built Netflix into the behemoth we’ve come to know it as.
